Banana and Caramel nuts cake
Banana → yum. Banana & cream → woo!yum! Banana & cream & cake → great! Banana & cream & cake & caramel nuts → Wow! Soo delicious!!! ＊note＊ 1 cup=240ml
- granulated sugar (A) (50g (about 1/4 cup))
- water(A) (100ml (about 1/2 cup))
- Grand Marnier (2 tsp)
- egg(room temperature) (3)
- cake flour (70g (1/4 and 1/3 cup))
- granulated sugar(B) (70g (1/3 cup))
- milk (2 tbsp)
- heavy cream (200ml (5/6cup))
- granulated sugar(C) (3 tbsp)
- unsalted butter (1 tbsp)
- granulareted sugar(D) (2 tbsp)
- water(D) (1 tbsp)
- mixed nuts (30g (about 3 tbsp))
Preheat oven to 360F.
Place parchment paper on a (9.5 inch × 11 inch) square pan.
Make a syrup for a cake. In milk pan, melt sugar(A) in water(A) over low heat. when it cool, add Grand Marnier.
In a milk pan, put sugar (D)and butter and water(D) over low heat, when it turns caramel color. turn off the heat. add nuts. spread caramel nuts on a parchment paper. Let it cool. when it get rock solid, chop it!
In a big bowl. Combine egg and sugar(B), beat it with a electric mixer until dense foam.
Fold sifted flour with a spatula 1/3 at a time until it get smoothly.
Add milk. and Gently mix.
pour the batter into the pan, Lift and drop the pan on the counter to pop the air bubbles.
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, upside down onto parchment paper. Let it cool.
Add sugar(C) to heavy cream, then Whip it. Slice Banana.
Cut cake and place in a dish, Brush syrup on the cake. cover the cake with a whipped cream.
then, place banana. Repeat layers, scatter caramel nuts on the top.
tada! Scoop it as you like!
or, you can use cookie cutter, and layer them.
