This is a California roll. I call it a salad roll though. Once you "roll", you can be a Sushi chef! sorry, I made a mistake to write this recipe about vinegar.I changed the amount.
- cooked white rice (2 cups)
- imitation crab (8 pieces)
- avocado (1 avocado)
- egg (2 eggs)
- sushi vinegar (1/4 cup)
How to Prepare
2.Cut avocado in lengthwise.
3.Cut imitation crab in small pieces,and marinated with mayo.
4.Mix rice and sushi vinegar. Cool it down.
*If there is a Japanese super market near your house, you can find Sushi vinegar.Or try
Asian aisle in the store.
On the plastic wrap,put 1 sea weed,
and 1/4 of rice.Make it a thin layer.
Then turn the sea weed and rice onto plastic wrap.
Now, the rice side is the bottom. You can see the sea weed side.
Put egg, imitation crab, and avocado in half bottom side of the sea weed.
Start Rolling up from your side to the top with plastic wrap. As you roll it up, gently squeeze.
*If it is hard to roll it, put kitchen paper on the bottom and pull it up to the top.
Keep the roll for a while with plastic wrap.
Wet the knife, and cut it from top of the wrap. It is easier to cut them.
*If you desire, you can roll the roll onto sesame seeds before cutting.
