Dried Fruits Scones Made with Olive Oil
You need only half an hour to make these yummy healthy sweets! I use the ram dried fruits, so it's rather for adults. You can add just normal dried fruits, or bananas instead, for kids, too! Crispy outside, fluffy inside.
Background: I had ram dried fruits at home, so wanted to use them all!
- Flour (100g)
- Strong flour (80g)
- Sugar (50g)
- Salt (a pinch)
- Baking powder (2 teaspoons)
- Ram dried fruits (2 tablespoons)
- Egg (1)
- Milk (70ml)
- Olive oil (30ml)
Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Put all flour, sugar, salt, tea and baking powder into a bowl and mix together well. Add the ram dried fruits into the bowl to mix.
Beat the egg in a separate bowl and pour, with the milk, into the main mixture slowly, mix well. Then pour olive oil and mix to make a dough.
Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop the dough with a tablespoon about a golf ball size, put it on the sheet and press flat slightly with the back of the spoon.
Bake for 15 min until the surface turns golden brown, and remove to a cooling rack.
