Easy baked sweet potato wedges
Really simple baked sweet potato wedges that you can make for your snacks or side dish. Healthy, yummy and super easy. 30 mins from preparation to completion (includes cooking time).
- Japanese Sweet Potatoes (500 grams)
- Olive Oil (3 tbsp)
- Sea Salt (1 tsp)
- Italian Herbs (1 tsp)
- Black ground pepper (1 tsp)
- Curry powder (1 tsp)
Preheat the oven to 220 Degree Celcius or 425 Degree Fahrenheit. Line a baking tray with aluminium.
Slice the sweet potato into 1 inch slices or 1/2 inch if you like it thinner (the latter cooks faster)
Mix together the dry ingredients - Salt, herbs, pepper, curry.
Add the olive oil into the sliced sweet potato and mix in the dry ingredients.
Place the sweet potato on the lined baking tray and bake for around 10 mins on one side for 1/2 inch slices. (15 mins for 1 inch slices). Actual timing might differ, please check.
Turn wedges over with tongs and bake for another 10 mins.
Remove from oven and serve :)
