Good Old Pancakes
Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl. You really should sift the ingredients together.
Make a well in the middle of the dry mix and pour in the egg, melted butter and milk.
Start your mixing!
And mixing, until you've got a smooth mixture.
There's plenty butter in the batter, so only lightly grease a frying pan and heat it so it's about medium high. Pour in a ladle of the mixture. leave some spaces around the edges for flipping.
Once bubbles start to form and pop all over the pancake it's time to flip it over. Once both sides are browned remove the pancake. Make sure to wipe the pan of any crumbs before you start with the next pancake. Serve with maple syrup.
