Mackerel Hamburgers ✿
This fish burger actually tastes like meat! You can store these in the freezer and they are great for packed lunches.
- Mackerel (2)
- Shiso leaves (2 sheets)
- Egg (1)
- ★ Panko bread crumbs (About 3 table spoons)
- ★ Ginger (A little (tube ginger also works))
- ★ Salt and pepper (a pinch)
- Lemon juice (to taste)
Flake the fish and mix well with the egg. Add the thinly chopped shiso leaves and ★ ingredients and keep kneading.
Form a hamburger patty. Slap with your palm to flatten and to release air pockets.
Make a dent in the middle for quick cooking time and cook in a pan. Cover with a lid and cook over a medium low heat. Once one side has cooked, flip over and lower the heat until cooked, then it's done!
Add lemon juice as you like.
