No Hassle Chocolate Cake
You can make this rich chocolate cake by just mixing and adding each ingredient into just ONE BOWL! After cooking, you will discover how little washing up there is to do in your kitchen sink! I've created this cake without using high-calorie double cream or too many eggs, but still maintaining the delicious indulgence of chocolate cake. Enjoy cooking :)
- milk chocolate (110g)
- butter (60g)
- honey (1 tbsp)
- cocoa powder (2 tsp)
- egg (2)
- milk (50cc)
- flour (60g)
- baking powder (1 tsp)
Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Pour hot water into a bowl then suspend another bowl over it but avoid touching the hot water. Put the chocolate in the second bowl for melting (but best to break into smaller pieces first), and stir with a spatula.
Once melted, add butter and stir in with the chocolate ensuring it is well mixed.
Next add cocoa powder and honey and mix in well.
Beat eggs and add slowly and gradually to the mixture while continuing to stir.
Microwave 50 cc of milk for 30 second or about body temperature. Pour the milk into the bowl slowly while slowly mixing.
Sieve the flour and baking powder into the bowl and mix roughly.
Pour the mixture into a cake baking tin. Bake for 15 min, then turn down the temperature to 160 degree C to bake for a further 10 min. Check whether it's cooked or not by pushing a stick into the centre; if nothing comes out on the stick, it's cooked.
To finish, sieve powdered (castor) sugar on top with a tea strainer. Now you can have your piece of yummy chocolate cake!
