Steam okra in boiling water until okra is soft and bright green.
Mince garlic and fry until crispy in extra virgin olive oil. Extra virgin coconut oil is a better choice if you have it.
In a serving bowl, mix okra, garlic with extra virgin olive oil, shouyu and dried bonito flakes (optional). The amount of garlic and shouyu is really up to your preferred taste.
