Oven Roasted Peanuts, In-shell
If you can get your hands on some fresh, raw peanuts still in their shell, try making your own freshly roasted peanuts! Easy to do, tastes great and fills your kitchen with the smell of roasted nuts ;) You should be able to use these to make your own peanut butter too!
- Raw peanuts, in-shell (250-300 gram)
- Peanut or vegetable oil (1 Tbsp)
- Salt (optional) (A pinch or two)
How to Prepare
Preheat oven to 350F/180C. Rinse peanuts if needed and let dry. In a bowl, toss with the oil and salt.
Spread peanuts evenly on an oven pan. Roast for about 35 minutes, or a few minutes more if needed.
Let peanuts cool for a little bit as they will get crispier as they cool down.
