Pork and asparagus roll in Japanese style
My lunch box in schooldays often have this pork and spring roll.We can enjoy its' savor even if it get cold. That's why it's nice for both dinner and a bento box,The most important thing is..don't make asparagus too soft!Juicy asparagus will tell you the reason later on!
- Asparagus (6pcs)
- super-thinly sliced pork meat (6pcs)
- sake-Japanese wine (3tbsp)
- regular balsamic acid (2tbsp)
- soy sauce (3tbsp)
- salt and pepper (1pinch each)
- French mustard (1tbsp)
- olive oil (2tbsp)
Prepare all items.Microwave asparagus for 1min(wrap it with a wrap.).Leave asparagus until its heat goes.
Wrap 3pcs of asparagus with 3pcs of rolled out meat.
Season them with salt and pepper.
Prepare a source.Mix balsamic vinegar, soy sauce and sake in a bowl.
Put olive oil in a pan.
Add French mustard into a prepared sauce。
If available, Yuzu-kosho(paste of Yuzu-citrus,salt and green chili) also taste fabulous as a good substitute for mustard, bringing it to more "Japanese" flavor.
Place rolls in a pan.The important point is..let the end of rolled part come underside, for sealing.Fry them for 5min at middle heat.
Turn them, and fry other sides for 3min each.
Add a mixed sauce into a pan.Take out rolls, and let sauce cook down to a half amount.
Cut rolls and go for a bite!
