Sauteed Bitter Gourd (Goya) with Mackerel
I use the japanese saba miso can mackerel
cut the bitter gourd in half and remove the seeds.
slice bitter gourd about 2cm. and soak in salted water for 2minutes.
Saute the onions until color turned transfarent add bitter gourd simmer for 2minutes.Add can mackerel and simmer until sauce tickens.Sauteed bitter gourd is better when half-cooked.
