Teriyaki Chicken Drum stick
It's very easy and simple ingredients you need, but It's actually really delicious. Honestly, I usually don't calculate since I could see roughly more and less. Regardless of the quantities, it doesn't matter. Always good taste! Grab a Chicken and take a big bite! (Don't bite your finger!) *note* You may like to put a little bit mustard on a chicken when you eat it!
- Boiled egg (4-6)
- Chicken Drumstick (1 kg (2.2 lb))
- SAKE (2 tbsp)
- water (4 to 5 U.S. cup)
- Sugar (7 tbsp)
- soy sauce (1/3 cup)
- MIRIN (4 tbsp)
- rice vinegar or white vinegar (only if you want) (3 tbsp)
- sliced ginger roots (1 inch piece)
Prick Chicken with fork all over.
Boil egg and peal shell.
Make small lid with aluminum foil or cooking sheet. make a hole in the center of it.
Douse the Chicken lightly in boiled water with Sake. Drain water.
Combine 4 to 5 cup of water, sugar, soy sauce, mirin, (vinegar),sliced ginger in the pot. Bring it to the boil.
Add Chicken and boiled egg. put a small lid directly on top of the ingredients, and boil on a high heat for 15 minutes.
(Try not to break your egg!)
Turn the heat down to medium heat.(Be careful to burn.)
Take off small lid. It's finish! You may boil sauce down until it thickens.
Good for party dinner!
