If french people see this recipe, they might say it is not a real risotto. But it is tasty enough to call risotto I think.
- Onion(chopped) (1)
- Carrot (chopped) (1/2)
- Tomato puree (1 can)
- Brown rice(soak in water for about 6 hours before use) (about 360 cc)
- Vegetable bullion (1.5 block (Follow the instruction that your bullion package says))
- Water (About 1000 mL)
- Salt and pepper (as wanted)
- Olive oil (as wanted)
- Garlic (if you want)
Stir fry chopped onion, carrot and garlic. Add salt and pepper as wanted. But not too much.
Boil about 1000 mL of water in a big pot and put Vegetable bouillon. After the bullion melts perfectly, set it aside. Make sure this soup stays hot till it goes into the other pan.
Add rice into the pan with veggies and stir fry till the rice gets along with veggies.
Add Tomato puree and stir all together. Then start adding the soup you made. Make sure that rice is always soaked with the soup. And do not stir very well after adding the soup otherwise the rice gets sticky.
