Tonkatsu (Deep fried pork cutlet)
Tonkatsu is very popular food for all Japanese. It's very simple to cook! *You can find 'Tonkatsu sauce' in a asian food grocery store. Also,stake sauce or ponzu or soy sauce are good!
- 2 slices pork loin (about 450g (1 lb))
- salt (a pinch)
- pepper (a pinch)
- flour (proper quantity)
- egg (1)
- PANKO (bread crumbs) (proper quantity)
- oil (for deep frying)
cut of a string of pork.
sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper on both side of the pork.rub it a little bit. keep pork in refrigerator for 10 min.
Preheat oil to 175C(350F).
dredge the pork in flour.
dip pork into beaten egg.
dredge the pork in the bread crumbs tightly.
deep fry the pork in the oil which preheated 175C(350F). when the pork turn light brown,take out it from oil.
Cut meat into bite-size pieces.
