    Kitty Some time i cook without the pandan leaf. The Pandan leaf cover some of the bean smell, and give the drink a very nice fragrant. In Beijing, China i bough the leaf from the market with lot of imported item@RMB1 per leaf. The same price i can get about 20 leaf in Singapore. So i alway will buy lot of the pandan leaf (enough for my 6 months supply) , clean them and put into freezer then bring over to Beijing.

    Felice I see! I wonder if I can find it in America. Either way, I love soy milk so I want to try this soon! I'm interested how it's different from store-bought soy milk ;)

    Kitty You can don't use the pandan leaf. My mother will strain away the fiber before she cook the milk. The bottle soya milk you buy from the supper market had already strain the fiber away. If you strain the fiber, you may use it to make cookie or ice-cream. The fiber is good for our body and my family member like to drink the milk with same fiber in it.
